Letting You Know I'm Alive (and starting a devblog)

As of writing this, I am counting around 18 separate playtests for Lumen Ryder Core (not including solo-testing) and 3 whole versions where I’ve had to make big changes to how the game is played.

That’s all well and good in the world of game development, as harsh as it is I’m very happy with where the game is going and how surprisingly versatile it is - not just as a tokusatsu game but as a competent duelling/martial warfare game as well.

Things to look forward to in the future:

  • 6 new “Signature Moves” for more customizable fighting styles such as going into Stealth and Parrying
  • A duelling-style PvE mechanic that plays like PvP
  • A versatile point-based form creation system for more varied and specialized forms
  • Investigation points have a direct role in combat for Allies
  • More Boons, Drawbacks, and weapon pregens
  • General tweaks and corrections for Boons, Drawbacks and Specials for less redundancies and such
  • General buffs for Armour and Harm across all forms

Expect all of this in the FULL VERSION of the game.
